Joinery Draughtsperson - Project Manager

Joinery CAD Draughtsman / Project Manager required with a keen eye for detail and a passion for high–end bespoke furniture. Armstrong Vinton Furniture in Southwest London is a celebrated manufacturer of high–end furniture and architectural joinery. We are looking for a Draughtsman to join our friendly, well–equipped, modern workshop.


Key Responsibilities


  • Draft accurate production quality drawings showing all technical details for the manufacture of bespoke furniture and joinery.

  • Carry out accurate site surveys, in London, home counties and occasionally abroad.

  • Collaborate with clients, Designers, Craftspeople and Project Managers to understand project requirements.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes.

  • Support Estimators and report cost variations.


The Ideal Candidate Will


  • Have a joinery background with experience of making high–end bespoke furniture.

  • Have good knowledge and experience of drafting in AutoCAD or SolidWorks all other drawing software will be considered.

  • Have an extensive knowledge of materials, finishes and hardware.

  • Have the ability to meet deadlines, be organised, and work individually or as part of a team.

  • Possess excellent analytical and communication skills.

  • Be willing to work overtime if required.

  • Have experience of project managing and delivering joinery packages with a value of GBP(Apply online only)k.

  • Full–time, permanent, PAYE position with 28 days holiday per year.

  • Wages based on experience, with overtime available.
