Joinery Draughtsperson - Project Manager

Joinery CAD Draughtsman / Project Manager required with a keen eye for detail and a passion for high-end bespoke furniture. Our client in Southwest London is a celebrated manufacturer of high-end furniture and architectural joinery. They are looking for a Draughtsman to join their friendly, well-equipped, modern workshop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft accurate production quality drawings showing all technical details for the manufacture of bespoke furniture and joinery.
  • Carry out accurate site surveys, in London, home counties and occasionally abroad.
  • Collaborate with clients, Designers, Craftspeople and Project Managers to understand project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes.
  • Support Estimators and report cost variations.
The Ideal Candidate Will
  • Have a joinery background with experience of making high-end bespoke furniture.
  • Have good knowledge and experience of drafting in AutoCAD or SolidWorks – all other drawing software will be considered.
  • Have an extensive knowledge of materials, finishes and hardware.
  • Have the ability to meet deadlines, be organised, and work individually or as part of a team.
  • Possess excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Be willing to work overtime if required.
  • Have experience of project managing and delivering joinery packages with a value of £100-500k.
