Multi-Skilled Joiner – Full Time – Rochdale (Greater Manchester)

We are looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Joiner to join our responsive repairs team. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference by delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance across our housing stock, ensuring tenants receive a first-class service. Immediate start available.

What’s on offer?

  • Rate of pay: £20-£23 per hour (Umbrella)
  • Contract length: Minimum 3 months
  • Hours: Full time, 36.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
  • Work pattern: On-site, working across responsive repairs and maintenance jobs
  • Start date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out joinery repairs and maintenance within tenanted properties
  • Undertake a wide range of responsive repair tasks including doors, skirting, flooring, and kitchen units
  • Deliver multi-trade works where required, such as basic plumbing or patch plastering
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, on time, and in line with health and safety regulations
  • Maintain excellent tenant communication and customer service throughout all jobs
  • Accurately record completed works and report on progress to supervisors
About you
  • Time-served Joiner with proven experience in responsive repairs
  • NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry and Joinery is required
  • Multi-trade skills (plumbing, plastering, tiling, etc.)
  • Full UK Driving Licence (company van is provided)
  • Strong focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
  • Positive attitude, problem-solving skills, and flexibility to adapt to different repair tasks
