THE EMPLOYER IS: HOME AND WORK LTD. We’re hiring a workshop Joiner to fabricate and pre-assemble components for garden rooms/pods, bespoke offices, pergolas and related timber products. You’ll work from drawings and cut lists to produce accurate, high-quality parts ready for finishing and installation.

Responsibilities
  • Cut, prepare and assemble timber frames, panels and cladding to specification.
  • Operate fixed machinery and hand/power tools safely (mitre/table saws, nailers, sanders).
  • Check measurements/quality and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
  • Assist with basic finishing (stain/paint/seal) and staging kits for site teams.
  • Receive/organise materials; follow H&S procedures (PPE, RAMS).
Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven joinery/carpentry ability in a workshop setting.
  • Competent with woodworking machinery and hand/power tools.
  • Able to read drawings/cut lists and work to millimetre accuracy.
