A local charity in Edinburgh is seeking an Administrator/Personal Assistant to support a blind man. The role involves taking notes, assisting with computer tasks, and attending meetings. Applicants should have strong computer skills, good eyesight, and effective communication abilities. Training will be provided, and physical fitness is important to keep pace. The position requires 9 hours per week, with shifts occurring Monday to Friday during business hours.
£13.60 per hour.
Blind man looking for someone to support him to work for a charity near Easter Road in Edinburgh.
No experience necessary as training will be given. However, you must have some skills in using a computer, have the ability to work under pressure, have good eyesight and have excellent written and oral English. A degree of physical fitness is also required to keep up with my walking pace.
I am looking for an Administrator/Personal Assistant to cover two to three shifts totalling 9 hours per week. In addition to this there will usually be an extra 15 minutes per shift to help me to get to or from work whilst I’m without a guide dog. The shifts will occur usually Monday to Friday during normal business hours. Some shifts will start at 0845.
