A leading defence organization in Stevenage is offering a Business Degree Apprenticeship that includes placements in Project Management, Procurement, and Sales Development. Over four years, apprentices will gain practical experience while studying for a fully funded BA (Hons) in Business Management, with various corporate benefits, including flexible working and health insurance.
The MBDA Business Degree Apprenticeship offers two streams within the Business Degree Apprenticeship: Business and Sales & Business Development (SBD). You will gain a unique insight into various functions across MBDA and, by the end of the four-year programme, begin the next stage of your career in a part of the business you’ve experienced and want to continue developing in. We consider applicants for both streams unless you specify interest in only one.
The MBDA opportunity supports the life cycle of our products with placements that develop a wide range of skills and expertise across our Business and Support functions.
Annual leave and flexible working: 25 days of annual leave per calendar year (plus holiday purchase) and up to 15 days flexi leave. There is also study leave during exam periods. You will spend summers in MBDA international offices, subject to restrictions, gaining cross-national exposure and language development.
You will study towards a BA (Hons) degree in Business Management at the University of Hertfordshire for 4 years, fully funded by MBDA. The programme is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute. You will attend university one day a week and work in rotational placements when not at university. The course delivery blends virtual and face-to-face learning.
