Job Responsibility:
The successful applicant will provide high-quality job support to young people with learning difficulties and disabilities to develop job search skills and other work-related skills as required.

Salary: Pro rata £19,993 - £20,088 per annum (FTE £23,215 - £23,395)

Location: Waterfront, Huddersfield

Hours and Weeks per Year: 37 hours per week / 38 weeks per year

As a Job Coach, you will work closely with curriculum staff, the work placement officer, and employers to create opportunities for students with SEND to gain meaningful work experience to support them on their pathway to employment.

You will work on site and off site and will need to be prepared to travel to various settings with groups or individual students. An inclusive approach to disabilities and the skills to advocate for young people with additional needs would be a positive.

The qualifications deemed essential for the post are a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in literacy and numeracy (e.g., GCSE English and Maths at grade A*-C).
