Java Developer

Belfast based, hybrid (3 days onsite). Up to £65,000 salary.

We are representing a long standing Belfast engineering team known for delivering high quality solutions for some of the UK's best known brands. You'll join a tight knit hybrid team responsible for designing and building modern Java based solutions across a range of large scale customer facing projects. The work is varied, technically interesting and offers strong exposure to cloud, integration and modern delivery practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain high quality Java applications.
• Collaborate with architects, product and UI teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Contribute to code reviews, best practice and engineering standards.
• Develop and integrate APIs and cloud based services.
• Support continuous improvement across tooling, automation and deployment.

Required experience

• Strong commercial experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience building APIs and microservices.
• Good understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, testing and modern development workflows.
