Job summary

A leading recruitment agency in the UK is searching for a Japanese speaking Relationship Manager to oversee a portfolio of Japanese corporate banking clients. Responsibilities include managing client relationships, writing credit papers, and ensuring compliance with operational requirements. Candidates should possess prior corporate banking experience and ideally have skills in credit analysis and business development. This is a full-time, office-based position requiring Japanese language skills.

Qualifications

Japanese speaking Relationship Manager - What You'll be Doing:

  • Responsibility for a portfolio of Japanese corporate subsidiary banking clients in the UK.
  • Client coverage and portfolio management: Taking a proactive approach to managing all aspects of a diverse client portfolio.
  • Working closely with more senior RM and other colleagues to support wider business development and other activities.
  • Writing credit papers and effectively managing the credit process for new and existing business.
  • Supporting clients' operational requirements and ensuring risk and compliance for all activities.

Japanese speaking Relationship Manager - The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Previous experience including RM, corporate banking coverage, financial product, and related middle office functions.
  • Experience in managing credit analysis activities for diverse corporates.
  • Japanese language skills or business experience beneficial.
  • Knowledge of corporate banking, corporate finance, accounting and business development.
