Qualifications

• Extensive Phlebotomy experience.
• Fertility experience desirable.
• Excellent communication skills with both work colleagues and patients.
• Up to date knowledge of Health & Safety and Safeguarding protocols.
• Knowledge of specimen requirements.
• Intricate attention to detail.
• Remain empathetic to patients at all times.

Responsibilities

• Obtaining blood specimens in line with blood processing and handling procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort whilst in the Fertility Clinic.
• Inform service users of procedures and what will happen next.
• Communicate effectively and considerately to patients and their family/support.
• Work closely with the multi-disciplinary team.
