Job summary

A specialist logistics provider in Liverpool is seeking an IT Technician to provide hands-on support for hardware and software. You will be responsible for installing and maintaining IT infrastructures such as networks and CCTV systems. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience and a valid CompTIA A+ certification. Competitive salary of £33,000 with OTE of £40k plus an on-call bonus and training opportunities are offered. This role is on-site, with a rota of 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off.

Overview

IT Technician (Hardware & Software) – £33,000 + OTE £40k + Training + On call Bonus (circa £5k+). Mon - Fri, 08:00 - 17:00 - On Site. Location: Liverpool.

Are you looking for a varied IT Technician role for a highly successful specialist logistics company? Do you have experience working with hardware and software? Do you enjoy a hands-on role with day-to-day variety where no two days are the same? The company operates within shipping and haulage as a specialist logistics provider.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain on-site computer hardware and software including laptops, Wi-Fi, networks, CCTV and access control systems.
• Resolve hardware and software issues in person, remotely, or via telephone; support internal users in finding solutions to technical challenges.
• On-site hardware and software support; some outdoor work and some working at height.
• Implement, maintain, and improve IT infrastructure and systems.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence
• Qualified to a minimum of CompTIA A+
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role

On-Call & Schedule

• 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off on-call rota (out of hours remote when on call)
