A local educational organization is seeking an IT Technician to support digital education in Weston-super-Mare. Job Title: IT Technician
Actual Annual Salary: £28,859 - £31,111 (CLF Grade C) Based on hours and working weeks
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday / All year-round
Additional role info: Monday to Thursday 7.5 hours per day 8am to 4pm with 30-minute lunch & Friday 7 hours 8am to 3.30pm with 30-minute lunch. The primary location for this role is Broadoak Academy in Weston-super-Mare, with regular travel to other academies as needed. Outside of these on-site responsibilities, the role offers flexibility to work remotely, supporting a balanced and adaptable working arrangement.

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive IT Technician to join our ICT team at Cabot Learning Federation (CLF). In this key frontline role, you will ensure high-quality ICT provision that underpins learning, safeguarding and operational excellence across our academies.
Working under the guidance of senior ICT staff and in close collaboration with colleagues across the Trust, you will provide responsive, hands‑on technical support to staff and students. You will play a vital role in maintaining ICT systems, resolving day‑to‑day issues, supporting classroom technology, and contributing to the smooth delivery of academy‑based and trust‑wide IT services.
This is an excellent opportunity for an IT support professional who enjoys problem‑solving, supporting users, and seeing the real‑world impact of their work in an education environment.
