Academics is currently recruiting for a reliable and skilled IT Technician to work in a supportive school environment in Dartford, starting October 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving educational setting and play a key role in maintaining and supporting the school's IT infrastructure.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support to staff and students
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues
  • Maintain and manage IT equipment across the school
  • Support the implementation of new technologies and software systems
  • Ensure all systems run smoothly to support teaching and learning

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous IT support experience (school experience preferred but not essential)
  • Solid understanding of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and basic networking
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
