Overview

IT Support Technician, permanent, full time position, fully office based Monday to Friday in central Staplehurst. We’re continuing to grow and need a qualified and tech savvy, IT Support Technician with Active Directory, Office 365 and helpdesk support experience to join our friendly team. There is travel within the UK, so you’ll need a full driving licence and be a car owner.

You’ll be the first point of contact for our sites across the UK for all IT issues & requests – and as part of this, you’ll travel to our sites to implement new technology and resolve issues. It’s a brilliant opportunity for an experienced IT Support Technician who really loves their tech, and is looking for that next step in their career. It’s essential you have previous experience as a IT Support Technician and good knowledge of a range of different IT systems and software programs and good people skills as well as a love of all thing tech!

Responsibilities
  • Provide IT Support on the helpdesk by both phone and email to a high standard.
  • Manage the tickets received, taking corrective action, escalating any problematic issues to the appropriate IT resource when necessary.
  • Take a proactive approach to housekeeping tasks, helping to improve security and reduce the risk of future issues.
  • Create, manage and maintain user accounts and access permissions through Active Directory, Office 365 and other platforms.
  • Assist with PC moves, setups, configurations and improvements.
  • Take ownership of the groups IT inventory ensuring it's always up to date.
  • Liaise with our IT suppliers to escalate issues, roll out updates and improvements.
Requirements
  • Must be willing to frequently travel to sites.
