Position Overview: We are looking for an enthusiastic IT Support Technician to join a renowned, global Construction Company based in Belper, Derbyshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in IT support who is looking to grow their career in a supportive and dynamic environment.

You'll be providing day-to-day IT support across the business, assisting with hardware and software troubleshooting, and getting involved in system upgrades and rollouts.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support to internal users across multiple sites
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
  • Set up and configure new user accounts and devices
  • Assist with system upgrades and project rollouts
  • Maintain accurate records using the IT ticketing system
  • Escalate complex issues to the infrastructure team as needed
  • Support the IT team in ensuring secure and efficient operations
Qualifications / Technical Skillset
  • Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office 365 Suite
  • Active Directory - password resets, user management
  • Basic networking - DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP
  • Office 365 - Teams, Exchange, SharePoint
  • Printer and peripheral support
  • Experience with remote support tools
  • Any exposure to Intune or Azure is a bonus
