Job summary

A leading IT service provider based in Swansea is seeking an IT Service Desk Analyst for a 3-month contract. The role involves providing user-facing IT support, assisting with small IT projects, and deploying Windows 11 devices. Successful candidates will have strong communication skills and hands-on experience with Microsoft support technologies. This position requires on-site work Monday to Friday, with a pay rate of £18 - £20 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional user-facing and communication skills.
  • Experience deploying Windows 11 devices/upgrading from Windows 10.
  • Able to work on-site Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Provide user-facing IT support as part of the on-site IT Support team.
  • Assist with small IT-centric projects, including rolling out Windows 11 devices.
  • Floor-walk to assist the Service Desk in completing tickets.

IT Service Desk Analyst

Role: IT Service Desk Analyst

Type: Contract, Daily Rate

IR35 Determination: Inside IR35

Duration: 3 months

Pay Rate: £18 - £20 per hour

Start: ASAP/Urgent

Responsibilities
  • Provide user-facing IT support as part of the on-site IT Support team.
  • Assist with small IT-centric projects, including rolling out Windows 11 devices and reimaging machines using the Microsoft Deployment Kit (MDT) and SCCM.
  • Floor-walk, assist the Service Desk in completing tickets, respond to requests for IT hardware and software, and answer inbound IT support calls.
Role Requirements & Experience
  • Exceptional user-facing and communication skills
  • Hands-on experience with core Microsoft support technologies (e.g., SCCM, MDT, Intune)
  • Experience deploying Windows 11 devices / upgrading from Windows 10
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure (desirable)
  • Able to work on-site Monday-Friday
