Job description
IT Operations Administrator, CloudKitchens - London

London

Who we are

CloudKitchens helps restaurateurs worldwide succeed in online food delivery – our goal is to make food more affordable, higher quality, and convenient for everyone. We take underutilized properties and transform them into smart kitchens so they can better serve restaurateurs, customers, and the neighborhoods they’re in. Every time we launch a new facility we create jobs in that neighborhood, and we’re proud to provide a wide range of cuisines and options for healthy food at an affordable price. We are changing the game for restaurateurs whether they’re entrepreneurs opening their first restaurant all the way through to your favorite global quick‑service restaurant chains.

We are seeking an IT Operations Administrator to join our team in London. The role involves supporting our IT systems, networks, and devices, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations and security compliance. You’ll handle service desk requests, onboarding setups, system maintenance, and AV support for meetings and events.

What you’ll do
  • Respond to first and second‑level requests related to workstation hardware, software, network connectivity, and audio, video, and web conferencing systems.
  • Review diagnostics and assess the functionality and efficiency of systems.
  • Implement and monitor security measures, certificates, and company compliance with requirements.
  • Onboard new employees, create accounts, and configure hardware and software; assist in training and orientation.
  • Actively respond to Service Desk tickets, incoming calls, and/or emails, escalating end‑user requests within established SLAs.
  • Accurately document hardware failures, repairs, installations, and removals by recording problem‑solving responses.
  • Basic administration of SaaS applications and licensing (O365, Teams, Jira, Google Workspace, Confluence, Zoom, Slack); procure and deploy Windows workstations.
  • Support and maintain LAN/WiFi, MDM, EDR, and related technologies to secure IT assets and perform hardware and software configuration, maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting of workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and printers.
  • Set up and support AV for conference rooms and high‑profile presentations; familiar with audio mixers, microphones, camera management, and meeting and webinar settings.
What we’re looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or IT operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, hardware setup, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace and ticketing systems such as Jira, Confluence, Zoom, and Slack administration.
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals (LAN/WiFi, routers, switches, VPNs) and endpoint management tools (MDM, EDR).
  • Understanding of IT security practices, certificates, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting audio‑visual systems for meetings, webinars, and live events.
  • Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Demand for online food delivery is growing fast – the market has expanded 10X from $10B to $100B and could reach $500B–$1T by 2030.
  • Changing the restaurant industry: you’ll be part of a team that helps restaurants succeed in online food delivery.
  • Collaborative environment: you will receive support and guidance from experienced colleagues and managers, helping you to learn, grow, and achieve your goals.
