Overview

IT Liaison Manager – Surrey. 6 months, Part-time – ideally 3 full days per week or school hours over 5 days.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced IT Network Liaison Manager to support and coordinate IT network infrastructure across the client\'s site. This role will act as a key point of contact between tenant businesses, internal operations, and third-party IT providers, ensuring smooth service delivery and strategic alignment of digital infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary liaison for tenants on IT network-related matters
  • Coordinate service delivery with external IT contractors and internal teams
  • Manage network access and provisioning for new and existing tenants
  • Support incident response and troubleshoot connectivity issues
  • Monitor network performance and escalate issues where necessary
  • Ensure service level agreements are met and maintain strong relationships with providers
  • Contribute to planning for network upgrades and cybersecurity improvements
  • Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and service records
  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders regarding planned works or disruptions
  • Support IT requirements for tenant onboarding, departures, and relocations
Required qualifications
  • Proven experience in IT coordination or network management
  • Strong technical understanding of networking equipment (e.g., Extreme, Aruba, Palo Alto, Mitel)
  • Knowledge of wired/wireless networks, telephony, firewalls, and related technologies
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to manage third-party service providers effectively
  • Organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working in a flexible, fast-paced environment
Desirable qualifications
  • ITIL certification or similar service management qualifications
  • Awareness of compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR)
Working Arrangements

On-site role based in Surrey

Flexible part-time schedule: 3 full days per week or school hours across 5 days

6-month interim contract with potential for extension
