We're looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager to lead the delivery, optimisation, and development of our enterprise-wide infrastructure services. This is a hands-on technical leadership role, ensuring our technology backbone - from servers and networks to cloud and security - is reliable, scalable, and future-ready.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, develop, and support infrastructure services across networking, servers, storage, backups, disaster recovery, and hosting.
  • Act as the technical lead and subject matter expert, working closely with senior leaders, stakeholders, and suppliers.
  • Drive optimisation and innovation across on-premise and cloud technologies (Azure, VMware, Microsoft 365).
  • Ensure high levels of service availability, performance, and security across all infrastructure platforms.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing infrastructure team, setting clear objectives and supporting growth.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and service providers to deliver operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with Cyber Security teams to strengthen threat and vulnerability management.
  • Lead infrastructure strategy and ensure alignment with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Strong track record in IT infrastructure leadership within complex, multi-vendor environments.
  • Deep technical expertise across networks (LAN/WAN/MPLS), firewalls, storage, backups, Active Directory, VMware, Microsoft 365, and Azure.
  • Proven experience designing and delivering both on-premise and cloud solutions.
  • Hands-on ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues (2nd/3rd line).
  • Strong understanding of IT security, DR strategies, and infrastructure governance.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and vendor management skills.
  • Relevant certifications (Microsoft, VMware, Azure, ITIL) or equivalent experience
