Overview

A successful business based in Uxbridge is looking for an accomplished IT Director to join its senior leadership team. The firm embraces flexibility and offers a hybrid working environment with 1 or 2 days per week working from home. Please note that the successful candidate will be required to travel to Wales regularly – either one day each week or two days each with an overnight stay every two weeks – so please only apply if you are comfortable with regular business travel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Devise and implement the IT strategy to deliver a robust, efficient and secure technology environment that harnesses the latest technologies to enhance business performance.
  • Lead focus areas including AI & Automation, optimisation of IT systems, digital transformation, data analytics and cyber‑resilience and security across all platforms.
  • Oversee IT infrastructure services, cyber security, digital transformation, AI adoption and software development.
Qualifications
  • Proven technology leader with a collaborative style and strategic vision.
  • Experience managing a team of six and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Commercially astute, empathetic, with outstanding communication skills and a commitment to service excellence.
  • Experience overseeing IT infrastructure and software development.
  • Comfortable with the travel requirements to Wales as outlined.
  • Experience in the health or care sectors is advantageous.
