Job summary

A leading energy firm is looking for a Defect Manager to drive change within their IT sector. You will manage the defect backlog and ensure smooth operation of defect processes. This role requires strong communication skills and an understanding of Oracle processes. The position offers full-time work in the UK, specifically in Reading or Havant.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and own the defect backlog and defect management process.
  • Ensure defects are raised and progressed according to the defect management process.
  • Ensure defects are appropriately assigned.
  • Ensure defects are kept up to date.
  • Ensure fixed defects are retested within agreed timeframes.
  • Report on defect backlogs, highlighting critical and blocking defects.
  • Raise Service Requests with Oracle where HCM issues are identified.

Skills
