Job summary

A leading recruitment services firm in the UK is seeking an Inventory and Admin Manager to enhance the efficiency of their Distribution Centre. This position involves optimising warehouse layouts, managing inventory control tasks, and implementing methodologies to improve operations. The ideal candidate should have expertise in inventory optimisation and a strong analytical skill set, alongside experience in S&OP processes and warehouse automation. A competitive salary between £60,000-£65,000 plus benefits is offered.

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in warehouse layout design, slotting and inventory optimisation.
  • Strong background in S&OP processes, sales performance analysis and demand-based stock allocation.
  • Experience in PI auditing, stock in transit optimisation and warehouse automation.
  • Advanced knowledge of WMS and ERP systems.
  • Able to analyse large datasets, problem solve and have a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Design, implement and continuously refine warehouse layouts.
  • Optimise storage capacity, picking routes and flow.
  • Manage all administrative tasks for the operation, including compliance.
  • Conduct slotting analysis.
  • Drive real-time inventory auditing.
  • Oversee and refine cycle counting programmes.
  • Implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to optimise operations.

Summary

Looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Inventory and Admin Manager to lead the design, efficiency and continuous improvement of this Distribution Centre. You will be crucial in ensuring optimal inventory flow, maximisation of space utilisation and aligning stock levels. You will need strong data driven and analytical skills coupled with full warehouse operations and S&OP integration experience.
