Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in an engineering role with a Main Contractor.
• Experience on new build RC Frame developments and PT Concrete Slabs preferred.
• Ability to use setting out instruments is essential.

Job Title – Intermediate Engineer

Project – RC Frame, Post Tension Slabs, PT Design

Job Location – London

Salary – £35K - £45K plus travel, accommodation

About the Company

Fantastic opportunity for an Intermediate Engineer with RC Frame Experience to work on a fantastic range of projects with a very reputable Main Contractor across the water.

This project requires a with a background in technical, city centre RC Frame projects.

Fortnightly Travel is required for this role – all travel expenses covered by the business.

Immediate starts available for the right candidate!

The Role

• Checking works as required for the project and ensuring all works are completed in line with project drawings specifications and building regulations and completed to a high standard.
• Liaise and manage sub-contractors and personnel on site in in the planning and construction of the project.
• Work closely with Project Manager and Design Teams to overcome any issues that may arise during construction effectively and with the least disruption to the program.
• Support the Project Manager/ Contracts Manager to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.
• Maintain excellent relationships with direct construction management team, subcontractors and site personnel.
• Manage a team of engineers to ensure works are completed as per programme and to a high standard.

Requirements

• A Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in an engineering role with a Main Contractor in the UK or ROI.
• Experience working on new build RC Frame developments and ideally PT Concrete Slabs.
• Ability to use setting out instruments is essential and being competent in all aspects of set out, survey & level, temporary works co-ordination.
• Thorough knowledge of computer and database applications such as Microsoft Office and Project/PowerPoint.
