Role: R&D and Sustainability Communications Manager

Client: Major Science organisation

Location: Hybrid working and Manchester

Duration: 12 months (scope to extend)

A leading Science and Agriculture organisation is looking for an Interim Communications Manager to support Sustainability, Innovation, and Global Production & Supply.

The Communications function is currently going through significant transformation, as they refresh their global strategy for the Business Unit, and move more towards internal, in-house communications.

This role will support strategic communications for Business Sustainability, Production and Supply. You will put in place robust communication strategies and plans, position and champion executives as Thought Leaders, identify stories and campaigns, write, publish and promote news stories, and track the effectiveness of initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in integrated, strategic communications.
  • Ability to develop and implement communications strategies.
  • Experience engaging with senior leadership and driving communications solutions.
  • Experience working with a global, matrix business.
