Interim Management Accountant - Full time - Weston Super-Mare- £50k (Pro rata) - 3 Month Fixed Term Contract

Are you a skilled Management Accountant who enjoys making an immediate impact?

Trial Balance Consulting has an exciting 3 month fixed term opportunity to join a well-established, forward-thinking organisation during a pivotal period of change.

You’ll be stepping into a supportive and collaborative finance team, playing a key role in ensuring accurate reporting, smooth month-end processes, and insightful analysis that supports informed business decisions. This is a chance to bring your expertise into a role where your input will be valued from day one. Reporting to the Head of Finance you will be responsible for:

Responsibilities
  • Producing timely and accurate monthly management accounts for senior leaders
  • Managing balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Overseeing payroll accuracy and VAT reconciliations.
  • Preparing quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and year-end processes.
  • Monitoring capital expenditure and fixed assets.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements in the finance function.
  • Providing guidance and support to colleagues, helping them thrive.
  • Stepping in to support senior finance leaders where required.
Qualifications and attributes

You’ll need proven experience in management accounting, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage deadlines with ease.
