Job Description
- Manage IT procurement activities, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for IT projects within the public sector.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and meet project requirements.
- Negotiate supplier contracts to achieve cost-effective and high-quality solutions.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues promptly.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities and outcomes.
- Support the Procurement & Supply Chain team in achieving departmental goals.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Project IT Interim Sourcing Manager should have:
- Experience in IT procurement within the public sector.
- A strong understanding of procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to develop and execute sourcing strategies.
- Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
