A national funding agency for research in the UK is looking for an Interim Interaction Designer for an 8-week remote contract. The successful candidate will advocate user-centered design principles, collaborate with team members, and prototype designs that meet user needs. Essential qualifications include experience with GDS standards, accessibility, Agile methodologies, and tools such as JIRA and FIGMA. This role supports the improvement of services used by the academic and business communities.
On behalf of UKRI, we are looking for an Interim Interaction Designer (Inside IR35) for an 8 week contract based REMOTELY.

Working has part of a user centred design team within DDaT's Digital Services function, the senior interaction designer will collaborate on user centred design with user researchers and content designers, ensuring that the digital service being designed meets user needs.
Specifically this will look to pick up work that was deprioritised by the Digital team as a result of the priority shift, namely advising on Studentships phase 2 and funding tower roadmap items.
The users of these services you're designing for are people with academia and business and the broader ecosystem.
