Job description

A leading specialist law firm is seeking an experienced Associate-level lawyer (4+ PQE) to join its in-house Compliance team on a fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of litigation and regulatory investigations within a dynamic, high-profile environment.

About the Role

You will play a key role in supporting the firm's compliance function, assisting with a broad range of tasks relating to litigation and complex regulatory issues. Responsibilities include conducting legal research, drafting documents, liaising with external counsel, and providing advice on regulatory investigations. The position reports directly to the Compliance Director and a senior partner, offering exposure to strategic decision-making and high-level matters.

Requirements
  • England & Wales qualified lawyer with strong litigation and regulatory experience
  • Minimum 4 years' post-qualification experience (PQE)
  • Proven background in handling complex regulatory investigations
Contract & Remuneration
  • Initial 6‑month contract with a strong likelihood of extension
