A local authority in Essex is seeking an experienced HR Manager for a pivotal role supporting the Head of HR. This hybrid position requires on-site work 2-3 days a week, with a focus on managing HR contracts, supporting HR projects, and presenting data to senior leaders. Candidates must have a strong background in the public sector and relevant experience in benchmarking and policy governance. Salary is up to £69k (pro rata), with an immediate start available.

You will be providing pivotal support to the Head of HR on various projects for which she will need you to take the lead.
You will also be managing HR contracts – this will include attending meetings, preparing reports, benchmarking other providers, creatively working on maximising returns.
