A recruitment agency in London is seeking an experienced Interim Financial Accountant for a 3-month contract. This position focuses on stabilizing and enhancing the financial controlling function within an FMCG business. Responsibilities include managing the month-end close, leading balance sheet reconciliations, and maintaining strict financial controls. Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Own the month-end close and deliver accurate results.
• Lead balance sheet reconciliations and review accounts.
• Manage Fixed Asset Register including depreciation.
• Oversee Accounts Payable controls and supplier reconciliations.

Skills

Audit-trained qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)

Strong controlling background in FMCG

Proven experience owning the balance sheet

Hands-on and detail-driven
