Job description

Make a change, be the difference in the lives of children and our future.

Intensive Family Help Practitioner (Edge of Care)

As an Intensive Family Help Practitioner, you will provide a range of interventions to children and families. You will undertake planned and emergency intensive support to reduce family crises, improve family functioning, and prevent children from entering care, using various intervention methods and skills.

You will work on a rota basis, covering evenings and weekends routinely to support families in crisis, prevent breakdowns, meet needs at the lowest level, and prevent escalation to statutory services.

You will deliver evidence-based programmes to individuals and groups of children, young people, or families to improve outcomes, raise aspirations, introduce positive activities, and keep families safely together.

What we're looking for

We’re seeking passionate, resilient, and skilled practitioners committed to making a real difference in the lives of children and families. You’ll thrive in fast-paced, emotionally complex situations and bring a calm, solution-focused approach to every challenge.
