The North East Lincolnshire Council seeks an Intensive Family Help Practitioner to provide crucial support to children and families facing crises. This role requires passionate practitioners who can deliver interventions effectively, ensuring that families remain together and thrive. Practitioners will work within emotionally complex environments, offering solutions-focused approaches while covering evenings and weekends. As an Intensive Family Help Practitioner, you will provide a range of interventions to children and families. You will undertake planned and emergency intensive support to reduce family crises, improve family functioning, and prevent children from entering care, using various intervention methods and skills.
You will work on a rota basis, covering evenings and weekends routinely to support families in crisis, prevent breakdowns, meet needs at the lowest level, and prevent escalation to statutory services.
You will deliver evidence-based programmes to individuals and groups of children, young people, or families to improve outcomes, raise aspirations, introduce positive activities, and keep families safely together.
