Blake Morgan is looking for a Paralegal to work as part of the Intellectual Property team based in the Cardiff or Southampton office (fixed term contract of 12 months).

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the UK and international trade mark portfolios on behalf of a large number of clients including high street names such as Nokia and Charles Tyrwhitt and will have the opportunity to work closely with these clients in an exciting area of law. The work will involve handling trade mark renewals, filing declarations of use in North and Central America, liaising with overseas agents and assisting with trade mark registrations.

This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious individual with a thirst to learn, who is flexible, well‑organised and able to think on their feet. In line with our philosophy of actively supporting the development of our staff through alternative routes to qualification, previous experience of intellectual property is not a requirement, provided that the candidate can demonstrate some knowledge in the area (potentially through academic study) and a proven interest and dedication to building a career in the IP / Trade Mark field.

We support hybrid working, typically with 2-3 days flexible office attendance, according to business need.
