An organization ensuring Halal compliance is seeking a compliance auditor based in Walsall, UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that HMC certified facilities are compliant with Halal food standards, conducting audits, and certifying products. This role is offered on a zero-hour contract with remuneration at the UK minimum wage. The role requires verification of processes and may entail a probationary evaluation period.

• Ensure compliance with standards for Halal foods at certified Slaughtering, Cutting & Processing Plants.
• Audit processes in academic institutions and production facilities.
• Approve and certify products related to Halal compliance.

Job Role

To ensure HMC certified Slaughtering, Cutting & Processing Plants are complying with standards in relation to the provision of Halal foods. In addition the successful candidate will audit the process within the academic institutions and production facilities and approve & certify the products in question.

Salary and Hours

Zero hour contract. Remuneration will be UK minimum wage and travel mileage at 30 pence per mile after deduction of the first 6 miles.

Method of Assessment

Interview & Application Form. Any potential candidate for the position will be required to complete a 6 month probationary evaluation period.
