Overview

Our Inside Sales Specialist position is your opportunity to join the Sales team for a marketing leading software company, with excellent brand recognition. You must be an excellent communicator who understands the sales cycle and can sell the benefits of our Tekla software not just the features. You will proactively approach existing customers as well as identify new potential business from businesses which have trialled Tekla and those that have requested additional information. You will be provided quantified (warm) leads from our Sales Development Representatives as well as having a team of Sales Engineers and other colleagues who can assist you in providing product demonstrations to potential customers. We will provide you with all of the tools and support to be successful in this position.

About Your Location: This position is a Hybrid role where you should be commutable to our Milton Keynes, Leeds or Newcastle office, where you will work roughly three days per week.

Responsibilities
  • Creating customer satisfaction with up-sell and cross-sell opportunities focusing on both existing and new business
  • Drive evaluation and acquisition of new customers
  • Nurture and successfully close new leads
  • Prepare accurate and compelling quotes
  • Identify and seize growth opportunities
  • Exceed sales quotas with outstanding performance
  • Represent Trimble in a professional and approachable manner
  • Work proactively with other members of the AECO sales team to ensure robust product knowledge
  • To excel in this role, you should have a strong foundation in proactive outgoing sales; you may have worked as a Sales Development Representative, junior Account Manager or have excellent customer service experience and wish to move into a quota bearing sales role
  • 1-2 years of experience in acquiring new customers by telephone
  • Experience with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce)
  • Experience in selling products that require technical explanations to non-technical audiences
  • Strong communication skills
  • Independent and structured way of working
  • Knowledge of the construction industry would be helpful but not essential
