Inside Sales – FCL

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

A leading freight forwarding business is expanding its commercial team and is seeking an experienced Inside Sales professional to focus on FCL (Full Container Load) activity. This role is ideal for someone confident in customer engagement, pricing, and building long-term relationships across the logistics sector.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing accurate and timely quotations in line with KPI requirements, using both contract and spot rate platforms provided by carriers.
  • Presenting quotations professionally via the company’s operating system.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with both suppliers and clients to support business growth.
  • Generate new leads and opportunities in collaboration with the external sales team to expand the existing client base.
  • Following up on quotes proactively to enhance conversion rates and support customer development.
  • Working closely with the operations team to ensure a seamless handover from quote to booking on all converted business.
Your Experience
  • Experience in deep-sea shipping is preferred but not essential.
  • A strong understanding of the freight forwarding industry is required.
