A renowned consulting firm is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead complex technology initiatives within the banking sector. The candidate will manage end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects, oversee vendor management, and ensure compliance and security across core platforms in Sheffield, UK. This is a 6-month engagement with a daily rate of 500 GBP inside IR35.

Qualifications

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to deliver complex technology initiatives within a large banking environment. The role focuses on infrastructure upgrades, migrations, patching, and refresh activities across core platforms, ensuring compliance, stability, and security.

Location

Sheffield, UK (3days/Week Onsite)

Duration: 6 Months +

Rate: 500 GBP/Day inside IR35

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of infrastructure projects across servers, storage, networks, middleware, and databases.
  • Define project scope, milestones, and deliverables in line with banking technology and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution with minimal business disruption.
  • Oversee vendor management, procurement, and third-party resources.
  • Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
  • Provide clear project reporting and updates to senior stakeholders.
