Job Title: Employer Engagement Coordinator

£31,906 per annum

Location: Truro and Penwith College

Are you passionate about creating inclusive opportunities for young people with additional learning needs? Do you thrive on building strong partnerships with employers to open doors for every learner? If so, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and nurture partnerships with local and regional employers across Cornwall.
  2. Create meaningful and accessible work placements, industry talks, and employer-led events.
  3. Champion inclusive employer engagement across college pathways such as Personal and Professional Development (PPD), Young ESOL, and Progression Pathways.
  4. Collaborate with tutors and curriculum teams to ensure opportunities align with learners' goals and Preparing for Adulthood outcomes.
  5. Act as a key contact for bespoke training, apprenticeships, and work-based learning tailored to inclusive learning cohorts.
  6. A strong communicator with the confidence to engage with employers and stakeholders at all levels.
  7. A passion for inclusion, with experience supporting learners with SEND or high needs.
  8. Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects and adapt to the needs of diverse learners.
  9. A proactive, partnership-driven approach to widening participation and removing barriers to employment.
