Nelson Permanent Placements are working with our client who are recruiting for an Industrial Electrician to cover the Midlands area. Our client specialises within hard engineering solutions and provides a full range of services in fast-moving, high-pressure manufacturing facilities, process environments and commercial spaces.

This is an opportunity where you will play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality electrical installations across industrial and manufacturing environments. To be considered for this role as an Industrial electrician you will have:

• Experience in electrical installation and testing within a process plant environment
• Essential experience within the manufacturing and industrial sectors
• 2391 or 2394 / 5 qualification with strong understanding of condition reporting
• 17th Edition qualification
• NVQ Level 3 qualification
• Level 3 Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations
• AM2 qualification
• Full UK driving licence

The key responsibilities of this role an Industrial Electrician:

• Carrying out electrical installations involving low-voltage wiring and containment systems
• Following safe electrical isolation procedures on existing live circuits
• Installing a range of low-voltage wiring systems and cable containment systems
• Producing installation and condition reports
• Testing and energising electrical systems up to 1000V, including new and modified installations
• Ensuring all operational procedures, safe working practices and health and safety requirements are followed
• Completing any reasonable tasks assigned in line with your role
