WE ARE EXPANDING!

Entry Group UK Ltd is recruiting for an Automatic & Industrial Door Engineer to join our service, installation and maintenance teams based at our Plymouth depot in Plympton.

The role will involve performing all aspects of service, repair and installation of industrial doors, automatic gates, automatic doors, access control systems, traffic barriers and more within industrial and retail premises, while covering a call‑out rota of one day in ten weeks. The engineer will install, repair, fault‑find and service door automation from key manufacturers such as GFA, Ellard, BFT, CAME, Dorma, Besam, Entrematic, Geze and Record. Knowledge of aluminium door sets is advantageous.

Responsibilities
  • Perform installation, repair, fault finding and servicing of industrial and automatic door and gate systems.
  • Maintain and service access control and traffic barrier systems.
  • Work independently, following verbal instructions and completing physical tasks including moving and lifting heavy objects.
  • Cover a call‑out rota and be flexible with overtime as required.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Essential Qualifications
  • Full Clean UK driving licence.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial and automatic door systems.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Electrical experience (18th edition).
  • CSCS card.
  • IPAF.
  • Pasma card.
  • Three‑phase and single‑phase electrical knowledge.
