Industrial Warehouse Operative

Newport, Isle of Wight
Temporary - Ongoing Contract (Starting January)
Pay: £13.50 per hour

Role Overview

As an Industrial Warehouse Operative, you will play an important role in keeping production and warehouse areas clean, safe, and well‑organised. Duties will include operating a B1 Forklift Truck, driving a small company van when needed, and carrying out industrial cleaning tasks across production floors.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a B1 FLT to move materials and support production
• Drive a small company van for site‑to‑site or local transport tasks
• Keep production floors clean, safe, and free from debris
• Assist with organising equipment and maintaining tidy work areas
• Handle industrial cleaning tools and machinery as required
• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times

What We're Looking For

• Valid B1 Forklift Truck licence
• Clean UK driving licence
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual, industrial tasks
• Good awareness of workplace safety
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments beneficial

Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour
Hours: Full‑time, daytime shifts
