Job summary

A leading professional services firm in the North is seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Partner to build and deliver specialist indirect tax advice across the region. This is a strategic role that involves team leadership and business development, leveraging existing client relationships. The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified and have prior experience at Director or Partner level in indirect tax compliance and advisory, particularly with OMBs.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or significant experience required.
• Previous experience in leading indirect tax teams at Director or Partner level.
• Experience advising OMBs and in indirect tax compliance & advisory.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for building and delivering specialist indirect tax advice.
• Charged with building a team and involved in business development.
• Utilise existing relationships to expand the client base.

We are currently working with a leading Top 20 Accountancy firm based in the North West who are looking to bring in an experienced VAT Partner.

A unique role with a large firm that will offer you the opportunity to help build a service line and be heavily involved the overall strategy of the department.

Your new role:

• This a strategic hire for the firm in the North with you being responsible for building and delivering specialist indirect tax advice across the North.
• A new role for the firm you'll be charged with building a team and initially getting involved in business development & technical delivery.
• The current firms client base is largely OMBs and they see a big opportunity to utilise a number of their existing relationships

What you'll need to be successful:

• ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified (or significant experience)
• Previous experience at either Director or Partner level leading indirect tax teams.
• Indirect tax compliance & advisory experience
• Previous experience & knowledge advising OMBs
