A local healthcare provider is seeking a full-time Independent Nurse Prescriber to lead ADHD clinics and manage pharmacological treatments. Job Summary
The ADHD Assessment Service are looking to recruit to a full-time Band 7 Independent Nurse Prescriber.
The Successful Candidate Will:
Work within the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) principles and as an independent prescriber will be accountable for pharmacological treatment.
Act in accordance with legal requirements within the Mental Health Act 1983, the Children Act 1994 and other relevant legislation.
Work within Trust policies, procedures, local protocols and guidelines including NICE publications.
Maintain and update clinical knowledge regarding policies and evidence-based practice within the relevant nursing field and disseminate relevant information to colleagues in the service.
Ensure awareness of statutory responsibilities held by partner agencies to ensure standards are achieved.
