Job summary

A dynamic fostering agency in the UK is seeking an experienced Independent Foster Parent Reviewing Officer to conduct annual reviews and ensure quality oversight for foster parents. As a qualified social worker, you will produce reports that support foster parent development and enhance the care provided to children. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of fostering regulations and the ability to challenge practices constructively. This home-based role also allows for flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Qualified social worker with relevant experience in child foster care.
• Knowledgeable about current national policies and best practices in fostering.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback and support to foster parents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct foster carer annual household reviews.
• Produce high-quality reports for foster parents' development.
• Review and audit oversight quality from the fostering service.

Skills

Experience of working with Children who are Looked After

Knowledge of Children Act 1989 and 2004

Understanding of Fostering Regulations
