Job summary

A leading global education organization is seeking an Independent End-Point Assessor to evaluate apprenticeship candidates in asset management. This role involves ensuring assessments uphold high standards and comply with necessary protocols. Candidates must have relevant industry experience and qualifications, along with strong interpersonal skills. This position is vital for maintaining the integrity and quality of apprenticeship assessments across the UK.

Qualifications

• Recent relevant experience of the occupation/sector to at least the same occupational level of the apprenticeship standard gained in the last three years.
• Professional recognition at a minimum of level 6, e.g., Chartered engineer.
• Experience of complying with quality assurance/regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess the performance of candidates in accordance with published assessment and grading criteria.
• Maintain service-level agreements regarding EPA planning and operational activities.
• Report all risks and issues encountered during the end-point assessment.

Skills

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of relevant legislation, codes of practice

Sufficient and relevant technical knowledge of the telecoms industry

Ability to assess and report risks

Ability to meet deadlines

Education

Relevant qualification at or above the level being assessed

Assessing Qualification or Teaching Qualification
