Inclusion Support Assistant

This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs and helping them achieve their full potential.

As an Inclusion Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and the SENCO to provide targeted support to pupils who require extra help with learning, behaviour, or social development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils with additional needs
• Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and participating fully in classroom activities
• Assist with social, emotional, and behavioural development
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff
• Promote inclusion and positive behaviour across the school
• Follow school policies, including safeguarding and behaviour procedures

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable)
• A patient, calm, and caring approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine commitment to inclusive education
• Experience supporting SEN pupils is beneficial but not essential, as full support and training will be provided
