The Governors of St George’s CE Primary School are seeking to appoint an Inclusion Manager / SENCO to work, within our Inclusion team.

The post will be non-teaching primarily but some classroom cover may be required.

We actively welcome interest from colleagues who already hold the National SENCO Award, as well as from teachers who are totally committed to providing high quality SEND provision and inclusion and are at the beginning of that qualification journey. The successful candidate will have a vital role in developing this provision for our community.

SEND is one the many strengths of St George’s CE Primary School, we are looking for someone who can lead and continue to develop inclusive practice.

The successful candidate will :
  • Be an immensely organised, dedicated and conscientious SEND Coordinator.
  • Be a highly skilled and experienced teacher with exemplary classroom practice and the skills to be able to coach and develop this within others
  • Already have experience within SEND and inclusion within their current role and an excellent understanding of SEND Code of Practice
  • Have a strong track record in identifying children’s needs and making a significant impact on the progress of all pupils
  • Have excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to lead, motivate and inspire others to achieve excellence
  • Be innovative, have a passion for high quality and inclusive education for all and be able to strategically lead and develop SEND across the school
  • Be fully committed to our school and our ethos
