Job description
Role Description

As Incident Coordinator you will support the end-to-end Incident Management process for Allianz UK. This includes incident notification, assessment, prioritisation, escalation, response team activation, meeting coordination, recording, reporting, trend and root cause analysis.

Salary Information

Pay: Circa £38,000 per year. Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.

Key Accountabilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across AZUK and other AZ entities.
  • Receive notification of incidents through monitoring of multiple channels.
  • Gather information to support assessment of incidents; assess and prioritise incidents.
  • Escalate as appropriate to tactical and strategic response teams.
  • Activate response teams, including use of emergency notification systems.
  • Coordinate and facilitate response team meetings, physically and/or virtually.
  • Record and communicate decision-making from response team meetings.
  • Maintain incident records accurately and compile reports for business.
  • Extract data from systems and conduct trend and root cause analysis.
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of AZUK business areas, including important business services.
  • Knowledge of IT, IS, Fraud and other functions, as they relate to business areas.
  • Facilitate the process for incident management meetings with senior stakeholders.
  • Maintain a commonly recognised information picture for meeting participants.
  • Compile accurate records of decision-making post-meeting and track actions.
  • Enter data to, and extract management information from, Salesforce and ServiceNow.
  • Interpret technical information and communicate clearly to senior stakeholders.
Experience
  • Recent experience in an corporate risk or resilience role.
  • Experience under pressure in an operations support role.
  • Educated to A Level standard and/or relevant experience in previous business roles.
  • Working towards ACII or other relevant qualifications desirable.
