About the client

Our client is a Fortune 500, multi‑brand, technology solutions provider to business, government, education and healthcare organisations, globally.

Now they are looking to hire a senior Commercial lawyer with at least 6 years’ City commercial technology experience, ideally with private practice training as well as in‑house exposure. This is an exciting role in a dynamic global organisation with a growing legal team that will suit a commercially minded, outgoing individual.

Responsibilities

• Contract negotiation – dealing with complex supplier, partner, and customer contracts. You must understand the industry and present a pragmatic approach for the good of the business.
• Internal networking – actively get involved with other teams and add value.
• Sales team partnering – challenge senior stakeholders and look at projects from a wider commercial perspective.
• Handle a broad range of matters such as strategic initiatives, customer and commercial arrangements, new technologies, IP, partnership ecosystems, disputes, and matters of risk, compliance and ethics.
• Prioritise and manage stakeholders at all levels in a dynamic, fast‑moving sales environment.
• Leverage public sector experience and collaborate with US organisations and their legal functions.

Reporting to the Senior Corporate Counsel, Legal, UK & International, you will be offered autonomy and the freedom to grow and take the initiative in addition to managing junior team members.
