Job summary

A leading legal recruitment agency is seeking a Paralegal or junior solicitor to support M&A transactions and provide commercial legal advice. The candidate will work on reviewing contracts and assisting with company secretarial work. Both full-time and part-time roles are available, with hybrid working options. This position is located in York and North Yorkshire, with occasional office attendance required.

Qualifications

  • Experience from a commercial law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Knowledge of mainstream commercial practice areas.

Qualifications

Applicants must either be an experienced Paralegal or a junior England & Wales qualified solicitor with a good quality legal training and experience from either a commercial law firm or an in-house legal department. Your experience can come from a range of the mainstream commercial practice areas, inc. Commercial Contracts and Corporate. Our client will also consider applications from candidates seeking either a full‑time or part‑time (3 or 4 days per week) contract role as they can accommodate both. They can also consider candidates from further afield, as there would be the option to undertake this contract remotely (predominantly) but with the expectation you would be in the office for 1 to 2 days per month. You will be an integral member of a small but supportive team and the company operates a hybrid working policy.
