Role Summary

Five Education are looking to recruit an In-Class Support Assistant in Bristol. As a Support Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with identified children and young people, encouraging them to learn and challenge themselves. The children have a diagnosis of Special Education Needs (SEN) such as Autism or ADHD and/or mental health challenges. They will need extra help at school in the lessons and at break and lunchtimes.

Key Responsibilities

Experience is not necessary, but a can-do attitude, resilience and initiative are essential. You will need to be available 8:30-15:30. This work is term time only, the school prefers people who can offer 5 days a week but they will consider people who can work a minimum of two days a week.

Essential Requirements

• Right to work in the UK we are unable to offer Sponsorship or accept Skilled Worker visas.
• Able to provide two recent references (from the last two years).
• Hold a current DBS check registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one.
• Please note, if you do not have a Non-Voluntary Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, we will need to help you process a new one at a cost of £62.70. This will be refunded after 20 days of work with us.
